Program Objective
This program aims to strengthen intellectual property (IP) for new drug development projects, enhance technological competitiveness, and maximize commercialization potential to facilitate entry into global markets.
Program Details
  • Program period: Mar-Nov, 2026 (planned in line with annual business schedule.)

  • Scope of support:
  • ① IP response strategy (FTO analysis): Verification of patent filing status for the target technology, environmental analysis, and in-depth review of related patents and publications to derive key patents and propose strategies such as design-around, invalidation, non-infringement arguments, and countermeasures.

     

    ② R&D direction (solving R&D issues and strategy): Competitor analysis, technology landscape mapping, and white-space identification to propose IP-driven pipeline strategies and short-, mid-, and long-term R&D directions.

     

    ③ IP creation strategy (high-quality patent creation and IP portfolio building): Strategies to generate new patents and reinforce existing ones so core research outcomes are effectively protected and key patents can be secured in advance.


    * Deliverables may include patent and literature analysis reports, environmental analysis outputs, key patent summaries, IP response strategy reports, IP portfolios, promising R&D topic identification and strategy proposals, and analyzed patent databases, tailored to each institution's needs.
