President DongHo, Lee, KDDF Strengthens Global Networks

CEO Dong-Ho Lee, KDDF, has taken an active step in strengthening global networks.

 

CEO Lee plans to participate as a speaker at the ‘2012 KSEK/KASBP Northeast Regional CONFERENCE & BIOFAIR’ Oral Session(Ⅲ) and to introduce the mission and vision of KDDF.

 

KASBP (Korean-American Society in Biotech and Pharmaceuticals) is a non-profit organization made up of Korean-American professionals working in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical fields.In this visit, President Lee plans to strengthen further human networks through meeting with FDA officials & Korean scientists.

 

Subsequently, on June 18th-21st, President Lee is going to participate in the ‘2012 BIO International Convention’ held in Boston. This is one of the largest international ‘bio-events’ being held each year since 1992, and the venue this year will allow KDDF to guage potential to increase exports or expand the market in the US in connection with the enforcement of the Korea-America FTA.

 

Specifically, while participating in this event, CEO Lee plans to have consecutive meetings on the morning of the 19th with Dr. Charles Wilson (Deputy President, Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research; Chief of the Global Strategic Alliances Division) and Mr. Paul Bolno (Vice President, Asia Business Development, GSK). They will seek ways to build strategic alliances and promote cooperation with Novartis and GSK.

 

Also, at 4 PM, an MOU will be signed with PAREXEL, a global CRO (Contract Research Organization), based on which mutual cooperation will be sought through implementation of selected projects and the human resource training program.

 

Later, CEO Lee will have a meeting with the staff in charge of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC), a semi-public institution established to promote life science in the state of Massachusetts and to expand global networks.
